PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that effective November 1, 2026, the rent for the premises described above will increase from $1,850.00 to $1,995.00 per month, an increase of $145.00 (7.8%).
This notice is served THIRTY (30) days in advance of the effective date, as required by Cal. Civ. Code § 827(b). The notice period expires on October 24, 2026.
Notice period applied: Increase is 10% or less in 12 months.
All other terms and conditions of the tenancy remain unchanged. Rent at the increased amount is due and payable on the first day of each month beginning with the effective date above.

The 10% figure is the statutory notice threshold. It is separate from the AB 1482 cap (generally the lower of 10% or 5% plus CPI) and from local rent control, both of which can forbid the increase entirely.
